Don't Miss It!
At City of Water Day, the Metropolitan Waterfront Alliance offers a glimpse of what our waterfront could be: a harbor that is healthy and accessible, a place that is as alive and diverse as the city that surrounds it.

Every day the MWA works to improve our waterfront and waterways -- through organizing conferences, building docks, running a kids’ harbor camp, guiding state-of-the-art waterfront design, coordinating waterfront policy task forces and advocating for greater government funding for the NY/NJ Harbor.
An alliance of more than 550 organizations, the MWA seeks to make our harbor a place where recreation, commerce, education, transportation and environmental efforts come together harmoniously. At City of Water Day this year we have more than 130 interactive exhibits, more than 30 free boat tours, kayaking, sailing, fishing, food, music and more. It is a fun day with a profound purpose, demonstrating the potential of our waterfront.
At City of Water Day, have fun, learn, and enjoy the harbor. And let’s all work together to make every day City of Water Day for everyone.
