The SS Columbia in her prime

The non-profit SS Columbia Project ( SSCP) is dedicated to restoring and operating America’s oldest surviving passenger steamer, the National Historic Landmark Vessel SS Columbia, as a means of:

1. Creating a unique educational platform regarding sustainability and stewardship.

2. Providing enriched public access to the cultural, scenic and environmental resources of the Hudson River Valley and New York Harbor.

3. Revitalizing our waterfront communities through responsible heritage tourism.
