Capt. Jonathan Atkin, maritime photographer, specializes in world-wide aerial and ship-to-ship photography for cruise lines, tug boat companies, dinner boat operators, salvage operators, port development projects and cargo lines.

His maritime familiarity stems from a life long access to ports world wide. At 18, Jonathan sailed out of Houston Texas as an Ordinary Seaman on trans-Atlantic bulkers.

Today, he works closely with port regulatory authorities to successfully produce stunning and powerful aerial photography in an increasingly restrictive air space and harbor. With safety as his watch word, his "up close and personal" photographs celebrate his maritime clients.

He also volunteers aboard the restored tugboat Pegasus and fireboat John J. Harvey. He regularly pilots the North Cove berthed 40 foot former naval launch, BIG TOOT in NY Harbor for Project City Kids.
