THE JAMAICA BAY ECO WATCHERS ARE DEDICATED TO THE PRESERVATION, PROTECTION, ENCHANCEMENT AND RESTORATION OF THE FRAGILE ECOSYSTEM
OF JAMAICA BAY.

We work towards the goal of assuring a safe and healthy environment for generations to come by:

a) Researching and identifying issues affecting water quality.

b) Ensuring compliance of environmental laws and regulations.

c) Investigating and reporting hazardous or potentially hazardous conditions to the appropiate authorities.

d) Enlisting the aid of concerned citizens, raising public awareness, addressing critical environmental issues and conducting educational outreach.
