Harbor Coalition: The Heavy Lift
Harbor Coalition Part I:
The Heavy Lift Federal Environmental Legislation in Tough Times
The New York- New Jersey Harbor Coalition is sponsoring this panel to explore federal support in tough economic times for protecting and restoring essential environmental and economic resources, like the New York-New Jersey Harbor. Join the experts who know best – Congressional officials from Harbor Districts in both New York and New Jersey, and leaders of successful efforts in other regions – for a frank and lively discussion about the pathways, and challenges, to obtaining federal authorizations and appropriations for important restoration projects in our region. Panelists can also provide an update on the Harbor Caucus and how it can benefit such an advocacy campaign.
