2011 Heroes of the Harbor Awards Dinner
Each year the Metropolitan Waterfront Alliance celebrates the heroes who are working to make our harbor a healthy, thriving, world-class resource for all.

Fireboats salute the honorees at the 2010 Heroes of the Harbor Awards (Ian Douglas for MWA)
Click here for information about the Parade of Boats
The Heroes of the Harbor Awards Dinner is a unique evening of fine food, drink, and entertainment set against the backdrop of the waterfront. Including our famous Parade of Boats, the event is a perfect opportunity to relax, celebrate the Alliance's hard work over the past year, and honor some of the region's most distinguished waterfront leaders--all while supporting MWA.
In 2011 MWA is proud to recognize: Hudson River Park, with Madelyn Wils accepting--for providing a world-class model for waterfront open space, access, and activity; and James J. Devine, President and CEO of New York Container Terminal--for his visionary leadership as a port-executive and steadfast environmentalist. Join MWA for this exciting event:
