A day honoring the courageous workers and volunteers who performed rescue, recovery and clean-up following the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center

Antique Responder Car Procession

A procession from the 1st Police Precinct to a bagpipe welcome at St. Paul’s Chapel

Opening Ceremony

St. Paul’s Chapel (Broadway and Fulton St)
Witness welcoming remarks honoring responders from elected officials, labor, and the community
Mini Film Festival
12:30 PM - 4:00 PM
New York City Police Museum (100 Old Slip)
Feel the spirit of community with documentaries on WTC responders, both worker and volunteer
About an hour each, expected films include, in order, Metal of Honor, Heart of Steel, and 9/12

Join other responders and the community in painting a giant Responder Day mural
9/11 Letters and Concert Music: A Tribute to Responders

Hear responders read letters from 9/11, and music that includes performances by responders
Led by Mike Sheehan, journalist and former member of the NYPD
