Please join New Yorkers for Parks and a distinguished panel on Thursday, April 1 for a discussion of community-driven greening efforts in New York City. This is the second of three events in our Spring Panel Series.
Panelists for the event include:
Luis Garden Acosta, founder and president of El Puente, Williamsburg, Brooklyn
Len Meniace, the Green Agenda for Jackson Heights, Queens
Esther Wang, Project Coordinator for the Chinatown Tenants Union at CAAAV: Organizing Asian Communities, a member of the O.U.R. Waterfront Coalition
The panel will take place at the Horticultural Society of New York, 148 West 37th Street, on the 13th floor, from 6 – 8 pm. Refreshments will be served. More information can be found on their website.
