Free and open to all
An afternoon workshop for all those who are interested in bringing our Hudson Valley heritage into the classroom environment. Author/illustrator Hudson Talbott will be presenting his book River of Dreams and leading a discussion on its use as a tool for engaging students in the history, culture, and environmental issues of the Hudson Valley. Teachers and educators will be invited to share their own insights and ideas about developing curricula for this very important topic.
Olana is located at 5720 Rt. 9G, Hudson, NY Directions to Olana's Wagon House Education center are: Enter Olana State Historic Site from Rt. 9G, just south of the Rip Van Winkle Bridge. Make your first right after the lake toward the farm complex. Parking lot next to the red barns.
