Walk through time and experience the beauty of the Bronx River as you learn about the river’s history and ecology. A different walk each month.

Governors Island is open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday through October 10. Enjoy more than five miles of car-free biking, relax in a hammock, play a free round of artist-designed miniature golf, see art exhibits, listen to concerts and much more. There are special events planned for every open day.
