KAYAK STATEN ISLAND PROGRAM
Kayak Staten Island is an all-volunteer organization. They provide free kayaking for the public at the shoreline on South Beach in Staten Island.

They provide the use of sit-on-top kayaks, life-jackets and paddles. They offer paddling tips and launch/land assistance. Experienced kayakers are in the water for further assistance.
Once a participant signs a waiver (required) and is fitted with a life jacket they may paddle out into an embayment area marked by buoys.

Join the Baykeeper, Debbie Mans, as your guide on the Captain John to visit the lighthouses of the New York Harbor, most of which can only be seen by boat.

This tour gives passengers a chance to see them up close.
The boat is docked at the Keyport waterfront and the tour runs from 3:30pm until 6:30pm.

Tickets are $45 per person and this includes light refreshments and beverages.
